Five Gifts of Death

A student film directed by visionary first year Mike Brown for the School of Visual Arts, Five Gifts of Death is the story of a Brooklyn teen who learns, through a series of mysterious gifts, about his absent father's complicated past. The film is stylized like a 70s classic, and captures the essence of the bond between Kung-Fu and Brooklyn hip-hop culture.
